Deleting a Custom License

Code Insight enables you delete custom licenses only via the Licenses tab on the Global Component & License Lookup tab. When a license is deleted or removed, all existing inventory items referenced the license are updated with the Unknown license info.

To delete a custom license, initially you need to search a custom license (you want to delete) on the Licenses tab of the Global Component & License Lookup tab. Only users with the Library Manager role are permitted to delete custom licenses.

Once you have a required custom license (you want to delete) in the grid below your search criterion on the Global Component & License Lookup > Licenses tab, click the Delete a license icon in the Actions column for a custom license you want to delete. Note that the Delete a license icon is available only if the user assigned the Library Manager role.
