Deactivating a Custom Detection Rule

Use the following procedure to temporarily deactivate or disable any selected custom detection rule. That deactivated or disabled custom detection rule will not be applied to any scan in your Code Insight system. Note that users with the Library Manager role are only permitted to deactivate or disable custom detection rules.

To temporarily deactivate or disable a custom detection rule, do the following:

1. Open the Custom Detection Rules tab, following the procedure in Viewing All Current Custom Detection Rules.
2. Click Disable Rules to temporarily deactivate or disable the selected custom detection rule.

The Disable Rules button is enabled only to users assigned the Library Manager role.
