Reactivating a Custom Detection Rule

Use the following procedure to reactivate or re-enable any selected custom detection rule that was previously deactivated or disabled, only after validating or confirming that the associated component, version, and license still exist. Note that users with the Library Manager role are only permitted to reactivate or re-enabled custom detection rules.

To reactivate or re-enable a custom detection rule, do the following:

1. Open the Custom Detection Rules tab, following the procedure in Viewing All Current Custom Detection Rules.
2. Click Enable Rules to reactivate or re-enable the selected custom detection rule.

The Enable Rules button is enabled only to users assigned the Library Manager role.
